The WS2815 LED strip is an upgraded version of the 5V WS2812B/WS2813 LED strip, offering several key advantages. Boasting a 12V DC input, the WS2815 strip experiences no voltage drop even when all LEDs are at full white, eliminating the need for frequent power injection required by the 5V counterparts. Additionally, the strip is designed with dual-signal wires - one data wire and one backup data wire. This unique feature enables continuous signal transmission, ensuring the remaining LEDs keep functioning even if one LED is damaged.

Each LED on the WS2815 strip is an independently addressable circuit cell, allowing for customizable cutting and welding to meet specific project requirements. The flexible FPCB substrate allows the strip to be gently bent and curved around surfaces, offering design flexibility. The strip is also equipped with 4-pin JST connectors on both ends, enabling easy chaining without the need for soldering.
