The SP108E WiFi Controller comes with several important precautions to be aware of. Firstly, the controller cannot regulate the output voltage at the VCC. This means the output voltage of your power supply must match the working voltage of your LED lights. If your lights require a 5V input, you must use a 5V power supply, never a 12V or 24V power supply. Additionally, the controller can only support 2.4GHz WiFi and cannot work with 5GHz WiFi when used in STA (LAN connection) mode. When connecting to a WiFi network in STA mode, the distance between the controller and the WiFi router must be within 3 meters.

The package includes the following items: 1x SP108E WiFi controller, 1x 3-pin JST connector, 1x mini screwdriver, and 1x user manual. The controller is compatible with iOS 10.0 or later, and Android 4.4 or later.

The SP108E WiFi Controller offers a range of features and capabilities. It can work in two modes: AP (Access Point) mode, where the controller and phone connect directly, and STA (Station) mode, where the controller and phone are connected to the same WiFi network. The controller supports 180 multi-color dynamic modes and 8 single-color modes, with adjustable color, brightness, and speed. To set up the controller, users can choose between two methods. The first method is to connect the controller in AP mode, where the user can find and connect to the controller's WiFi network (named SP108E_XXX, default password 12345678) directly on their phone. The second method is to connect the controller in STA mode, where the user needs to connect their phone to the same WiFi network as the controller and then add the controller to the LED Shop app.

The controller supports a wide range of LED driver ICs, including WS2811, WS2812B, WS2801, SK6812, SK6812-RGBW, WS2813, LPD6803, LPD8806, APA102, TM1913, UCS1903, SM16703, and DMX512. Users can set the RGB sequence, pixel number, and number of sections, with a maximum of 2048 pixels in total.

The SP108E WiFi Controller is designed with user-friendly features, such as saving user settings when powered off, reverse connection protection, and hot swap protection. It operates on a wide voltage range of DC 5V to 24V.
